There are 250 types of sharks. they liev in the sea. Most sharks like warm water. Even though most sharks live in salt water, some live in fresh water. Sharks range in a variety of shapes and sizes.The smallest is the Dwarf shark. This shark only gets to be 6 to 8 inches long. The biggest is the Whale shark which can get as big as 50 feet long.

Out of 250 types 0f sharks, only 27 have been known to attack people. Some of these are: Great White, Hammerhead, Tiger, Lemon...Even though there are many shark attacks reported, sharks really do not seek out people to eat.

The shark pictures I am going to show you are just a couple of sharks I think are interesting.

The thresher shark is not a athreat to people. This shark can get to be 15 to 20 feet long. The Thresher has a very long tail. Sometimes the Thresher shark will work with another Thresher Shark to herd a school of fish to eat with their tails. These sharks can be found in all the warm seas.
