My animal is The great White shark
My animal's scientific name is carcharodon carcharias.
My animal is the member of the chondrichthyes famaly.
What does the animal look like? long headand a grey with a whit belly. It has a fin on it's back and on the sides of it's body and a big strong tail.
Whight: 1,500-4,000 pounds. Hight: average langth is 12-15 feet long.
Habitat: tropicol and temperate oceans and seas.
my animal eats: other fish and seals turtles birds crabs whals waste from ships and garbige.
How does the animal care for it's babies? The great White shark does not care for it's babies. As soon as it's born it swims away and takes care of it's self.
What are the animals natural enemies? humans.
What do people value my animal for. people eat shark meat especially the fin that is used to make soup. People also use the skin to make clothing.
How long does it live? it is unknown some people think about 100 years.
Some interasting facts about my animal - sharks do not have eyelids because they don't need to blink to clear dust or moisten thire eyes. They have about 3,000 teeth.
Sharks have more than one row of teeth and if they lose a tooth one willgrow back.
