How was your school different

from our school now ? How did you get to school ? Kathleen walked 2 miles to school . There were no buses to ride to school .Her school didn't have computer lab .

What chores did you do when you were in second grade ? Kathleen helped wash the dishes, she made her bed and she watch her brothers and sisters .

What kind of clothes did you wear ? Did your mother make your clothes ? Yes Kathleen's mother made her clothes and she wore a dress.And no pants . She didn't wear tennis shoes . Only later.

What did toys and food cost when you were 7 or 8? Kathleen doesn't know how much they cost but they cost a lot less then they do now .

Did you ever earn money when you were in second grade?How? No Kathleen didn't earn money . There were no allowances . They did chores because it's part being of family member .

Do you have a short story or anecdote that kids my age might enjoy ? Kathleen brothers and sisters and her lived on a farm . Some of the animals they had were pigs,geese,chicken and cows- and old horse. They had to take the geese to the pond everyday because they like to wash. They had big sticks and they had to take the geese down to the pond everyday because they like to wash. When it was John's turn to take the geese the geese chased him.If they caught him they would bite on the back of his pants.John learned to run very fast . Kathleen playground was a big field where the cows were.Everything the bull was in field he chased Kathleen and her brother and sister that thought it was funny .

What kind of food did you eat? How much of your food did you grow? Kathleen grew all of her food even meat . And bread. And they made candy and doughnuts.

What did children do for fun when you were my age? What games did you play? Tell about your favorite toys. Kathleen had bikes and roller stakes and they played chase and cowboys and when they were inside they played checkers.

What happened when you were naughty? Kathleen got spankings.

What kind of house did you live in? Was it in town or country? It was in the country and it had seven bed rooms. It was a brick house.

What is the biggest change since you were a child? Technology.
