My animal is: Kangaroo. Country of origin: Australia.
Habitat: Many habitats, Woodlands, grasslands and rocky areas.
Weight: Upto 198 pounds. Height: 4. 9 feet.
My animal eats: Grass and other plants. Some eat small animal's.
My animal's scientific name is: Macropus rufus (red) Macropus giganteus (grey) My animalis a member of the macropodidae family.
How does the animal care for its babies? After 33 days, The baby crawls from it's mothers body into the pouch. It stays there until it is more folly formed. A baby Joey can clim into her pouch for food and safety until it is over one year old.
What are the animal's natural enemies: Fox, dornestic dog eats small kangaroos.
What do people value my animal for? Aborgines hunted Kangaroos for meat. All people like to see Kangaroos at zoos. Farmers poison Kangaroos as pests. 10 species of Kangaroos are endanered.
How long does the animal live? 12 to 18 years in the wild.
What does my animal look like? Large ears and small head, small front feet, large back feet with one sharp claw on each, drb coloerd to mach surroundings, males are bigger then females.

Some interesting facts about my animal are: The red kangaroos at top speed can go 16 feet or more in a single hop. And they can ran faster then 31 mph. Kangaroos use their tails for balance.
