Whales

My name is Sean T. This report will tell you about whales.Whales live
in the water. But they are not fish. They are mammals. The Blue Whale is
the largest mammal in the world.
Whales have a thick layer of fat called blubber under their skin to keep themselves warm. Whales can not breathe under water like fish can. When they come up for a breath they blow out the breath they've been holding, which makes a mist called the whale's spout.
Most whales have no teeth. They have baleen in their mouths which
is something like fingernails. Whales just open their mouth and tiny sea
animals float in. A Blue Whale can weigh as much as 30 elephants.
They are useful to people because they are hunted for their meat and their oil.
