First-graders meet a red-tailed boa!

		Megan's Uncle Walt brought his red-tailed boa to school for show 'n' tell.
All the kids in the room touched, petted or held this huge snake. It is about as tall as a grown man.
		The snake was very calm and gentle. It smelled us with its tongue. It liked to coil around us and we could feel how strong its muscles were.
Even our teacher held the snake. It hugged her!
