Stellaluna ate fruit. Stellaluna's mom was looking for food for Stellaluna and her. Instead, an owl attacked them. Stellaluna fell in the forest. She fell on the bush. She fell again in the birds nest. She heard the birds chirping. The mother bird thought she was one of them. Stellaluna opened her mouth. She did not like the taste. She did make funny faces. The birds got bigger and so did Stellaluna. One day Stellaluna said let's go out to fly. Shey flew for hours and hours. One said let's go home. They stopped and Stellaluna kept flying. But the birds went back home. Stellaluna dropped and Stellaluna hung by her thumbs. And another bat came on her branch and said you are upside down. A lot of bats came and one of them was her mom. And Stellaluna's mom said, I will not leave you.
