Our class wrote and illustrated bat stories based on "Stellaluna" by Janelle Cannon

One day a bat named Stellaluna fell and landed into the trees. Stellaluna held on by her thumbs. And Stellaluna said to herself, I can not hold on any longer so she dropped . Other bats were hanging on by their feet. They said Stellaluna was upside down. She found her mom. Her mom sniffed her and said she was her baby. So Stellaluna flew off with her mom.
