Room 16

Art Gallery

Our class painted flowers to brighten our room and help us celebrate spring!

We created some textured art with forsythia flowers made of tissue and pussywillows made of cotton.

Spring has arrived!

We experimented with painting in the style of Joan Miro. He was a Spanish painter who lived from 1893 to 1983. He was considered a "surrealist" who painted ordinary things in a fantastic style. His painting is called "People and Dog in Sun."

These are some samples of our paintings.

We had a great time painting and learned

something about Joan Miro.

We performed a play called:

Come Quick!

A Play for April Fools' Day

These are the pictures that we used for props. Groups of us worked on each one. We are
proud of our
cooperative art!
