Horses have four legs and are mammals. Horses drink mothers milk and eat hay when they are older. Horses are born alive. Horses weigh about 300 pounds as babies and grow to 1100 pounds as adults. They are 3 feet tall as babies and 5 feet tall as adults. Mothers take care of the babies for 4-6 months.
Horses are built for strenght and speed. Horses are the most comfortable to ride. The horse has been loved by people for about 5,000 years. Until gasilone engine replaced them, horses pulled carts, and plows, and carried people in battle. And in the hunt for food . The horse today is used for pleasure and sport and travel. Horses like lots of love and careful training. They react to their surrondings by their instincts.Some movements or noises might spook a horse. The horse defends itself with it's strong teeth and sharp hooves. It will run away from danger.
