The jaguar is a big animal, its 44-73 inches long, its tail is 18-30 inches long. Females weigh 100-200 pounds. Males weigh 125-250 pounds.
Jaguar are in danger of extinction, there are less than 200 left in Argentina.
Jaguar like to be alone, except when they mate in breeding season.
Jaguars like to hunt at night in the forest and jungle , they hunt small mammals like mice and deer. They eat fish, frogs, turtles, and small alligators. Jaguar lots of water. Jaguars are stocky with strong legs, they can live 22 years.
