We have this thing called a tattle barrel in our room. We are not allowed to tell on other people unless someone got hurt or it is VERY serious. We write our tattles on paper and put them in the barrel, then we all read them together every day or two.

Sometimes people ask for food, and sometimes people say who their friends are.

Then sometimes we have to tell on someone who has done something to hurt our feelings or broken some rules. Then we talk about how to make it so that won't happen again. Sometimes kids even use tattles to tease Mrs. Smith!
